The Project

Helius, an Android app that allows family members and caregivers to monitor medication adherence, activity, and rest patterns of the chronically ill via ingestible microchips and wearable sensors.

Research

Conducted on-site interviews with doctors, nurses, and caregivers. Reviewed applications with similar purpose or conceptual feel.

Analysis

Evaluated charting and graphing models for activity, rest, and medication ingestion. Created user flows with project management and engineering teams.

Development

Designed overall look and feel, ingestion and activity charts, instructional illustrations, animation, and demonstration prototypes.

Feedback

Usability tests conducted on prototypes, paper tests on biometric chart models.

Production

Generated multi-resolution assets, and authored style guides and developer specs.

Released by Lloyds Pharmacy (UK) as Lifenote.
